SuperSake is the Australian importer for Sekaiitto.
Founded in 1844, this sake brewery has been in business for generations in the castle town of Wakayama. Founded by the father of Meiji biologist, Minakata Kumagusu. Incorporates advanced technology with traditional sake brewing. The signature products are "Minamikata" and Wakayama fruit liqueur "Waka no Megumi". They make sake using traditional sake brewing methods that include carefully selecting sake rice and brewing their sake with water from the Kinokawa River. Wakayama is famous throughout Japan for its peaches, plums and other fruits. They make use of plum fruits grown in Minabe-cho, Tanabe-shi. Aromatic plum wine finished with ripe Nanko plums that were carefully selected. Sweet and sour mellow flavour with a lovely Ume aroma.

Their tangy yuzu sake is overflowing with fresh Wakayama citrus flavour. Infused with luscious yuzu citrus juice drawn from the region's famous Kishu yuzu fruit, Sekai Itto enriches its locally-brewed sake to produce this yuzu sake liqueur. Sharing its hometown origins with Ryujin Onsen, regarded one of Japan's greatest hot spring destinations, this cloudy yuzu sake is a popular choice for visitors, providing rich, juicy aromas and fleshy, citrus sweetness within its soothing, indulgent palate. Fresh tasting with a pleasantly sharp and zesty finish, this sake is the perfect choice to open or close a meal, regularly cut with ice or soda and enjoyed chilled. It is particularly good on a hot Australian afternoon or evening served in a tall long glass with 30–60ml of yuzushu, 3-4 cubes of ice, and then fill glass to the brim with sparkling mineral or soda water.

Wakayama is famous throughout Japan for its peaches. Have it highball style with soda, on the rocks or use in cocktails. Low alcohol drink. Great apertif for most Japanese cuisine types.
